Casa TzinTzun is a fully equipped house set-up for anyone who wants to live the ecological lifestyle - in luxury.

We prefer to rent this house by the month, though weekly rates are possible if necessary.

House amenities:

  • Indoor composting toilet
  • Bath with shower, tub, and sink and plentiful solar heated hot water
  • All hot water is provided via a solar hot water heater
  • Wifi internet access
  • Flat-screen TV and DVD player and hook-up for iPod with amplifier and speakers
  • Laundry area
  • Large, fully equipped kitchen with cooking island, two sinks, refrigerator and freezer, dining area, and an amazing amount of storage space. Coffee maker and blender are available for use.
  • Large artist's studio with wood floors perfect for exercise or even as an entertainment space.
  • Rumford fireplace
  • Furnished sitting areas
  • 3 bedrooms with queen-sized beds, with all-cotton bedding and duvets. In the living room a double futon couch folds out as bed.
  • Southern exposure with lake views provides the entire home with ample light throughout the day.
  • A greenhouse flanks the north side of the house with exotic tropical plants (and a worm composting bin for organic refuse).
  • Surrounded by orchards, backed by an oak and pine forest
  • Trustworthy housekeeper/cook available on daily or weekly basis. A full-time gardener maintains the property.

We want to make your stay as easy as possible, so we try to take care of the extra work so you can settle in smoothly.

  • First tank of gas (will last over 2 months if used properly)
  • Unlimited drinking water
  • Water for bathing, washing laundry

Cost
Monthly rate: $950 USD per month for 1 or 2 people. Each additional person after 2 people is $200 USD/month.
Weekly rate: $350 USD per week for 1or 2 people. Each additional person after 2 people is $75 USD/week.

 

 

The Bakery

The Bakery is a small, cozy house: perfect for a single person or a couple. Daily, weekly, and monthly options are available.
